Free Printable: Boy's Toy Bin Labels

With the new year approaching and lots of new toys from Christmas, I decided this would be a great time to do some organizing. My son is approaching one and a half, so it was time to get rid of the baby toys and make room for his "big boy" toys.

I created some labels for his bins that I thought I would share with you. There are two sets. One is blank so that you can download and insert your own text. The other is prefilled with common boy toys and pictures. If you want to create your own labels, you can download the blank labels and fill in using a program like picmonkey.com.

Just print these on full sheet labels if you would like stickers or print on cardstock and attach or laminate and attach. I like to use stickers for plastic bins and laminated cardstock for the canvas bins.

Customer Share: Minnie Mouse Bowtique Party (Plus Free Printable Cupcake Wrappers)

I am excited that Kenia allowed me to share some of the pictures she took at her daughter's 2nd birthday. I designed the printable items to match the Minnie Mouse Bowtique theme and she added the bows. Kenia is a talented bow maker and sells bows plus more in her ETSY shop B&B Cutie Accessories. Check out her daughter's adorable bow in the pic above!

The party was held at a park and despite the rain and wind and some of the decorations getting wet, the party turned out great.

If you are having a Minnie Bowtique themed party, be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for FREE Printable Minnie Mouse Bowtique Cupcake Wrappers.

Since the party was in the park, Kenia wanted wrappers for the cupcakes in the ice cream cones and for the brownies. In the top picture, you can see the ice cream cone wrappers and in the bottom picture, you can see the boxes. Kenia added the bows to tie together the brownie boxes. I also designed the black silhouettes with pink Disney font and the square favor tags you can see next to the "Brownies" sign.

Kenia used the food tent cards to label her food and drink items.

Kenia put together this adorable table for the cake and favor bags. I designed the "2" Cake Topper with bow and Kenia assembled. I also designed the Minnie Ears Favor Bag Toppers (you can see these in the top picture as well). I created the background for the banner and Kenia added the letters and bows.

This is a picture of the other table with Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes, Brownies and Cake Pops.

I offer several additional coordinating Minnie Mouse Bowtique Items in the shop:

Picture Tutorial: How to Use Iron On Transfers

We are going to Disneyland in two days! It will be the first trip for all three of my kids, so I decided it would be fun to make shirts for all of us. It is surprisingly easy to make shirts with iron on transfers and they are perfect for a birthday party, family trip or even a bachelorette party!

I just started selling printable iron on transfers in the shop. If you have never used iron on transfers, the process can seem a little daunting, but I promise it is easy (even for me and I am not a crafty person by nature, nor do I sew!). I thought I would provide a picture tutorial here for all of you who are thinking about doing iron on transfers for the first time.

If you are interested in a custom printable iron on transfer, send me an email at pamelareneeprintables@gmail.com. I would love to work with you!

These instructions are for inkjet iron on transfer paper like the Avery T-shirt Transfers for Inkjet Printers (you can also buy in a larger pack, which is most cost effective if you are going to be making several shirts). Please refer to the actual instructions for the transfers that you purchase.

 Iron On Transfer Instructions:

1. Print your image on iron on transfer paper. Make sure that you use a mirror image!

2. Turn your iron on to the highest cotton setting. Let it preheat for at least 5 minutes. Do NOT use steam.

3. On a hard flat surface (not an ironing board) waist lever or lower iron a pillowcase until it is wrinkle free.

4. Place your t-shirt on top and iron for approximately 2 minutes. You want to get all of the moisture out of the shirt of the transfer won't adhere properly.

5. Cut around your image, rounding the corners as you cut. This will help the edges to adhere. Get as close to the image as possible while cutting.
Hint: You will want to make the cut fairly even because you can see a bit of the clear shimmer from the transfer paper around the image after you adhere.

6. Place image face down onto the shirt. Align as straight as possible.

7. Starting from the left and working your way to the right, apply firm pressure and iron. Repeat 20 times.
Hint: The first time I go across, I hold the image with my finger on the corner and start a little from the edge so it doesn't slip (be careful not to burn yourself!).

8. Starting at the top and working your way to the bottom iron applying firm pressure. Repeat 20 times.

9. Let your shirt and transfer cool for approximately 2 minutes.

10. Once shirt has cooler, begin slowly peeling back transfer paper. The image should be firmly on the shirt and should not remain on the transfer paper. If it is not adhering properly, you may not have applied enough pressure and/or heat.

11. Wear your new shirt!

The process in its entirety takes about 10 minutes.

Theme Party: Mickey Mouse Inspired Party (Plus FREE Printable Cupcake Toppers)

One of the hottest party themes is Mickey Mouse this year. It is perfect for younger boys or girls.

I was recently able to create a Mickey Mouse themed party for Ashley and her son, Josh. She allowed me to photograph the finished products. She also came up with some great Mickey themed ideas that I wanted to share.

The Personalized Mickey Mouse Banner was displayed on the wall.

I created several custom signs for Ashley. The first was the "We've Got Ears, Say Cheers" sign. Ashley put together the awesome party hats using Mickey Silhouettes.

I designed the custom sign on the right to put next to the cute party bags that Ashley assembled. She used red favor bags and attached the Mickey Silhouette and white circle "buttons".

The third sign was for the Hot Dog Bar. Hot diggity dog!

This is such a cute and simple way to prepare silverware for guests. I love how Ashley tied in all three colors!

The Mickey Mouse Inspired Water Bottle Labels were created especially for the birthday boy! As shown above there are 3 personalized parts to each label: the "nutritional facts", Mickey Silhouette, and Child's name and age.

Ashley set out the pretzels, Goldfish, and M&Ms in containers and left out bags for guests to fill on their way out. I created the customized Mickey Mouse Inspired Food Tent Cards to accompany the display.

I also created labels to put on the bubbles that were part of the favor bags.

Check out this adorable cake that Ashley made (can you believe it was her first time using fondant?)!

To go with the cake, Ashley also made cupcakes. I created the cupcake wrappers and the cupcake toppers. You can also check out my tutorial on how to make these Mickey Mouse Inspired Cupcake Toppers.

Free Printable:

This week, I am providing the printable Mickey Mouse Inspired Red with White Polka Dot Cupcake Wrappers to you for FREE!

Please feel free to share these wrappers with your friends, but please link back to this post and not directly to the link!

Special thanks to Ashley for allowing me to photograph her party!
